Day 15: Offroading Adventures
Breakfast: couple of brownie bites, sausage patty, diet pepsi
Lunch/Dinner: Pad Thai (beef)…so good.
Dranks: 2 beers, some berry vodka thing, margarita shot, orange mojito
Every once in awhile, I get the urge to rummage through my tens of gigabytes of pictures and media I’ve collected over the years. I came across this little gem from summer of ‘06. Brandon and I were in the midst of an offroading binge and found a friend who loved it as much as we did. He had won his decked out Jeep Wrangler in a raffle (…!), and that thing was pretty badass. On one of our offroading adventures, we came across a little ramp-hill, and, well…
Yes, that’s me screaming. That was probably one of the scariest, stupidest, most awesome things I’ve done. Looking at the video now, how we landed on the front left tire, I have no idea how we didn’t roll over. He had taken the doors off of the Jeep, and the bumpy landing yielded this little beauty:
I think I still have the scar on my elbow from that door latch.
Ah, I miss those carefree summer days.
Day 14: NomNomNom
Breakfast: 2 tortillas, 1 breakfast taco (eggs, bacon, potatoes, flour tortilla)
Lunch: 3 wings, orange chicken, beef broccoli, fried rice, diet pepsi
Dinner: pecan bar
Day 13: NomNomNom
Breakfast: honey bunches of oats, water
Exercise: 2 miles running, 1/8 mile cool down
Lunch: salmon, rice, asparagus, diet coke
Lunch Dessert: Crepe with Nutella and strawberries
Dinner: a rib, a few wings and ranch, diet pepsi
Day 12: Emma the Husky!
Breakfast: 3 strips of bacon, English muffin (olive oil butter, strawberry jam), breakfast taco, a few home fries, strawberries and cantaloupe, water
Exercise: 2 miles running, 1/8 mile cooldown
Dinner: P. Terry’s double no cheese + pickles + lettuce, fries, water
Dessert: slice of chocolate mocha cheesecake
Derek brought his new Husky puppy Emma over today! She is the most adorable thing ever, even though she had an uncontrollable urge to play with all of my socks in the apartment. She’s got little puppy teeth and likes to chew on her feet and tail. She kind of stared at her shadow for a bit…
And then she stared at me for a bit. I don’t think she wanted the cupcake.
She is the most adorable little fuzzball.
And here she is in her heroic stance:
Though she is the cutest little thing, I don’t think I could handle a puppy right now. The constant pooping and whizzing and love-smothering might be a little too close to bringing a baby into the house. Derek and Katie seem to have it down, though. And Emma is definitely a sweet addition to the family. I’m glad I finally got to see her =)
And on a completely unrelated note, this video cracked me up. I wish we had this in the states.
Goodnight =)
Day 11: Double (the fun.)
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 strips of bacon, english muffin (olive oil butter, strawberry jam), home fries, strawberries and pineapples
Exercise: working a double then walking 0.6 miles lol
Lunch/Dinner: 2 Wendy’s chicken sandwiches sans 2 bun bottoms, baked potato (bacon, sour cream, chives, butter), water
I think that work should count as exercise if it feels like your legs are going to fall off when you finally have a chance to sit down after 10 hours. Real exercise the next three days.
